i redesigned our shabby old pillows. i crocheted these "persian tiles" some time ago with hopes of making an afghan, but i had no where near enough yarn for that. so they have been sitting around doing nothing with themselves... until now. i been pieced together to cover our poor old pillows. and much happier are they now.
i imagine that these came from an old woman who collected them all her life and didn't know what to do with them. aren't they lovely? some are quit fitting of past eras, i love it!
this is what i made for james and monica's baby boy who is due at the end of this month!

without so much as a piece of tape. in an attempt to avoid a dreaded trip to the store i folded up this gift, tried to hold the brown paper in place with one hand and then wrap the ribbon around with the other. Then proceded to tie the bow. it turned out not too uncomely... if you could only guess what's inside.
that is the only way I could describe her. i think she has an Eleanor Rigby way about her. "...picks up the rice in church where a wedding has been, lives in a dream."
endless doodles cover every inch of white space within my grasp, endless home-made melodies run through my head, while endless projects wait to be crocheted...
